Transcending Counseling

We offer individual psychotherapy services to teens and adults. These personalized one-to-one services are offered both in-person and remotely. All our clinicians are fluent in both English and Spanish and tailor these services to the needs of each client. Couples therapy is a form of psychotherapy that can help you and your partner improve your relationship. It is helpful at any stage of your relationship, regardless of your situation. We use widely recognized evidence-based methods including the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. We assist couples in gaining a deeper understanding of the roots of their problems with the intent of resolving dysfunctional patterns of interaction. EMDR can be a powerful complement to traditional talk therapy. It is a collaborative approach that offers brief and focused therapy to assist with clearing “stuck” material that is getting in the way of primary therapy goals. It will assist in accelerating progress in traditional therapy, support the client and the primary therapist to resolve “stuck” points and enrich their ongoing work.
